Your specialist will review any instructions for your specific operation with you. But, there are several things to remember before any type of oral surgery. We have a list here of what you need to do before your procedure.

Follow All of Your Pre-Op Instructions
Your oral surgeon will give you a set of pre-op instructions. It is crucial to the success of your procedure to follow all of these instructions. Make sure to read them carefully and ask your specialist any questions you have.

Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing. Wear short sleeves so that we can keep track of your vitals and administer IV. Do not wear jewelry or makeup to your surgery. If you have contact lenses or dentures, you will have to remove them before your operation.
