A native of Arkansas, Dr. Bolding began his educational training and developed his research interest at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville where he earned his B.S. in 1985. He then attended Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas, where he further developed his passion for research, winning multiple research awards and earning his D.D.S. in 1989. After his dental training, he was accepted into the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency program at Baylor University Medical Center, where, in addition to his Specialty Certification that he received in 1993, he continued his research and teaching interest; he also earned a Postdoctoral Masters in Craniofacial Biology at Baylor University in Waco, Texas, in 1992.

Dr. Bolding is a former Board Examiner and current diplomate of the Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is an internationally recognized leader and renowned educator in the area of orthognathic surgery (jaw reconstruction), temporomandibular (jaw joint) surgery, and dental implants. He has numerous publications and has dedicated his career to advancing the art and science of dentistry. In 2016, Dr. Bolding’s father began to develop Alzheimer’s disease and then, in 2017, his father had a debilitating stroke that the neurologist and neurosurgeons were convinced was most likely attributed to obstructive sleep apnea. As a result, Dr. Bolding has dedicated his career and talents as an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon to assisting in the efforts to find solutions to treat Sleep Disorder Breathing and Alzheimer’s.

In addition to his work at PRECiDENT, Dr. Bolding has been widely recognized as a healthcare and business visionary. He has consulted with hospitals, physicians, dentists, and many other medical/dental industry leaders for over 15 years on improving business processes to deliver higher quality healthcare to patients. His passion for quality healthcare is easily recognizable and remains one of his primary motivations as a frequent speaker on the value of improved business systems and technology in the healthcare industry.

Dr. Cifelli received her dental degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 2004, where she was one of the top students in her class. There she became a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. Upon graduation, she received an award from the American Society of Anesthesiologists. Her oral and maxillofacial surgery training was attained at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center, in Paterson, NJ where she remains on staff. Dr. Cifelli is board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Dr. Cifelli isa life-long resident of Northern New Jersey.She is married and has four children. She enjoys spending time with her family, exercising, and reading

Dr. Hillel Ephros (Hilly) is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and St. George’s University School of Medicine. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and served as an Examiner for that Board from 2003-9. He chairs the Department of Dentistry at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson, NJ and has directed the residency program in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery sponsored by St. Joseph’s for over 25 years.

He has published in the scientific literature, authored textbook chapters and received awards for teaching, including those bestowed by dental students at Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1988-90, and the Archbishop John J. Meyers Outstanding Educator Award in 2003 at Seton Hall University.

Dr. Ephros has devoted his career to resident education and providing care for patients many of whom come from communities with limited resources and tremendous health needs. His areas of interest as a doctor are oral medicine, anesthesia, maxillofacial trauma, cleft lip and palate, cysts and tumors of the jaws, maxillofacial reconstruction and collaborative, multidisciplinary care patients with complex needs. Beyond that, he is a husband and father, a serious home cook and an accomplished musician who still performs with regional bands.

Dr. Szumita graduated from Case Western Reserve University School of Dentistry.  He completed a general practice residency at the VA Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio, followed by a four year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the VA Medical Center in East Orange and St. Joseph’s University Medical Center, Paterson, New Jersey.

Along with his dedication to private practice, Dr. Szumita is passionate about the education of dentists and dental specialists.  He serves as Associate Chairman of the Department of Dentistry, St. Joseph’s University Medical Center, and Associate Director of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency Training Program.  Dr. Szumita has lectured throughout the country on various topics related to oral surgery. In 2018, Dr. Szumita released his first book, Hemostasis in Dentistry.  He has served as an Examiner for the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery since 2014.

Dr. Szumita is board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.  He has been named a NJ Monthly Magazine Top Dentist each year since 2009 and a 201 Magazine/201 Health Top Dentist.       Fellow, American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons

Dr. Szumita lives in Wayne with his wife and their three children. He is an avid runner and loves spending time at the beach.

Dr. Sebastian Mendoza was born and raised in New Jersey. He attended Boston University for his undergraduate study in Health Sciences. After college he began working as a surgical assistant, working intimately with the staff and patients for two years which peaked his interest in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Mendoza went on to obtain his DMD degree at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, receiving the L. Deckle McLean Scholarship, American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons Dental Student Award, and the Academy of Osseointegration Outstanding Implant Dentistry Award for his hard work and dedication to the field of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

He was accepted into the four-year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at New York Medical College practicing in both NYC and Westchester Medical Center where he served as Chief resident. Completing his residency at a level 1 trauma center that serves 3.5 million people has exposed Dr. Mendoza to a wide array of trauma and diverse pathologies. During his training he also became well versed in surgical and nonsurgical cosmetics, IV sedations, pediatrics, wisdom teeth, dental implants, infections, TMJ, and orthognathic surgery.

Dr. Mendoza is a member of numerous professional organizations including the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the New Jersey Society of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Dental Association, New York Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association, and the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
